The latest update (June 26) isn't as good. Previously you had unlimited 'Undo' [which was great especially when bidding (which cant do now) as software overbids so I could reduce my bid] but now it's 3 & 4th onwards you have to see an advert. But this doesn't reset to 3 after the whole game and seems to stay at 'Ad'. However it's coming up with 'adverts not loaded, try again later' which isn't helpful. I'll try it for a couple more days and if it's too irritating I'll find another Spades game

can be played offline so the very intrusive ads can be managed turning off internet connection when playing, but has issues. Bot opponents seem to almost always bid exactly what they win, bot teammate often significantly under or over bids. Also, bag penalties are turned off by default but can be turned on. Nil bidding also doesn't really work since the teammate bot won't play strategically to make sure you aren't forced to win.

I play this game a lot. I always liked that it could be played offline. They made changes, I think I fussed , uninstalled it, and then reinstalled. They've made changes AGAIN. SO, if you accidentally play the wrong card, you need to play an ad to get it changed. if you bid a bit too low, they will lock you out of the game, if you're like me and won't play online, you just have to give up the game. The algorithms really want you to watch ads!🤦
